Tunggul

“Persatuan Gigi Tunggul Tegar” kata one of my friend, Sar. Kelmarin Danish mengadu sakit gigi (actually gusi). Memang gigi depan 4 batang sudah jadi ‘tunggul’ menunggu masa mo gugur. Tapi punya lah hardcore tu tunggul, masih lagi ndak gugur2 walau pun sudah hampir 2 tahun bertahan. Dijadikan cerita, Danish was begging me to bring him to the dentist. Thanks to the teachers at PEKA, menanam sikap positif terhadap dentist dan doctor.

Terpaksalah minta bantuan Mr. Google. Dapat lah beberapa klinik di KK. Sekali lagi Misako kecewa sebab kebanyakannya kena buat tempahan awal, dan sudah penuh sehingga next week.
Ikhtiar kedua, shout it at the Facebook.

Bila keluar, masih lagi menangis kesakitan sebab kena cabut gigi. Danish yang mula2nya cool sudah nampak sedikit ‘sejuk’.
Danish: Kenapa dia ummi?
Misako: Kena cabut gigi.
Danish: Berdarah ka tu ummi?
Misako: Danish good boy, kan? Danish kuat bah.
Nama Danish dipanggil. Thanks to the nurse, she tried to comfort him. The dentist is really young. Dr Zarita start by asking friendly questions. Danish looks ok and told the dr. which part of his teeth yg sakit. Dr Zarita suggest not to pull the teeth because 1) gusi Danish bernanah, kalau kena cabut sure sakit. 2) It’s about time, ‘tunggul’ Danish akan gugur bila2 masa. So, no point of introducing him the ‘experience’ anyway.
I like the way she treat the patient. She advised Danish to brush his teeth and to drink milk from a cup, through a story. Ben10 and the giant ‘giuk’. Danish seems comfortable and agree to take the medicine after the Dr ask him.
In the end, no teeth were sacrificed. No feeling was hurt. It was a ‘happy’ visit to the dentist. Here I would like to share the phone number of several dentist around KK.

Short Trip to JB

Misako is currently at Johor Bahru for 3 days, attending a short course at the UTM, Skudai. It is great to learn new things and share the experience from the speakers, after sometime. It is also nice to meet new people in the (sort of) same area from different institutions.

Last night, Yatt fetched me and off we go to search the best Mee Rebus in town and found it at the food court at Angsana Plaza. It was a good combination Mee rebus + Yong Tau Foo JB Style + Green Apple juice. Marvelous! Thanks Yatt! (It's not healthy for me to stay longer in JB. Do AirAsia charge for added kilos on the passenger?)

Tomorrow will be a long day. Need to check-out after breakfast and straight to the airport after training around 5 pm. Going to find nice, cosy place to bertapa until 9pm before fly back to KK.
