Wake me up when September end

Today is 30th September!

It’s nothing to do with the story in the song. Just that, it is already end of September and tomorrow is October! Normally when it’s October, for me, it marks the starting of the end of the year. Well, it really a big deal for me. Why? It’s just because. Because:

• I still have not finished writing my PhD proposal (though I have prepared all the documents needed and filled up all the forms)
• The final exam is approaching. Need to compile all the student’s mark and calculate their carry marks.
• Need to prepare for Danish pre-birthday party. We do it earlier so that he can celebrate it with his school mate.
• Need to save some money for a mini-gateway early next year. We are going to KL to celebrate Hubby’s birthday. Yeaay!

There are some more. But I hope I can deal with these first. Happy end of September everyone!

Sakitkah Mati?

"Sakitkah mati, ummi?"

Mau jatuh air mata Misako bila mendengar pertanyaan Danish.



Setiap hari, Misako menghantar dan mengambil Danish & Danial ke Tadika dan Taska yang terletak di KF. Perjalanan mengambil masa kira-kira 30 minit ke 1 jam. Itu mengambil kira keadaan lalulintas trafik yang agak padat pada masa puncak. Sepanjang perjalanan ke sekolah, biasanya kami akan berbicara mengenai banyak perkara. Selalunya masa di kereta dipenuhi dengan pergaduhan kecil di antara mereka. Selalu juga Misako terpaksa meleteri Danial sebab kerap merengek minta dilayan.

Seperti biasa, dalam perjalanan balik dari sekolah Danish akan bercerita dan bertanya tentang apa yang telah dipelajari di sekolah. Paling diminati adalah mengenai Tuhan. Danish pasti Allah itu wujud, tapi masih keliru tentang bentuk kewujudannya.

Danish : Allah itu macam bos kah ummi?
Misako: Hmm.. tidak.. Allah bukan manusia.
Danish : Tapi Allah jaga kita, kan ummi?
Misako : Iya..
Danish : Kalau kiamat nanti kita semua mati kah ummi?
Misako : Iya..
Danish : Sakitkah mati, ummi?
Misako terdiam sebentar. Rasanya ada air yang bergenang di kelopak mata Misako.

Misako : Ya, mati itu sakit... tapi..
Belum sempat Misako habiskan ayatnya, Danish menyampuk.
Danish : Eee Danish ndak mau mati!
Misako : Tapi mati tidak sakit bagi orang yang beriman.
Danish : Beriman itu apa, ummi?

dan Misako pun menerangkan dengan panjang lebar, siap dengan contoh-contoh yang boleh difahami oleh anak bujangku yang akan masuk 6 tahun bulan Disember nanti.

Sesungguhnya, mati itu benar! Semoga kita sentiasa dipeliharaNya. Semoga kita hidup dan mati dalam iman.

Muviee

 

It has been a long time since my muviee treat. Suddenly, Mr Hubby agree to bring us to watch something. Yes, all 5 of us! Including Danial. This will be his first experience. Don’t know how will he react. I know Danish will be over excited as usual.

Movie time is a quite a big deal to us coz it’s quite hard to handle the kids.  Need to choose suitable movie so that they will keep occupied with the story and sit ‘kuai2’ without running here and there or keep visiting the toilet. All the time they wanted to the wee wee room, yours truly yg kena bawa and mostly miss the climax part of the muviee.. Sigh..

So, tonight I am still thinking which muviee to watch. Which one do you think will keep the excitement until the end of it?

Open Houses

Selamat Hari Raya! Just got back from our Big Boss’s open house. It was great. Love meeting the old, familiar friends and the new one too. The sense of belonging singgah sebentar di hati when I saw those faces.

I brought my Nurul too. She is on leave for the UPSR exam. At first, she was so afraid coz she thought she will be the only kid attending the open house. Turn up that she was glad to come, duit raya! Yup, big boss gave duit raya to the kids. There were also several kids with their parents.

Overall it was nice to attend the open house. Not because of ‘bodek ing’ the big boss, but instead seeing old friends was great.

One funny incident happened to one of my friend. Ada orang tersalah pakai kasut sebelah when she got out from the house. So, she went back to the office with different pair of shoes!

Sehari Lagi

Sehari lagi di KK, sebelum balik kampong. Seronok sungguh. Tapi sebelum balik Sandakan, ada lagi beberapa perkara yang perlu diselesaikan di sini. Dalam erti kata lain, shopping! Ala kadar saja. Sambutan raya tahun ini, ala kadar saja. Kena berjimat cermat walaupun ada bonus Raya. Jangan membazir sangat, lebih kita bersedekah pada yang memerlukan. Macam saudara kita di Pakistan tu, sungguh kasihan melihat mereka. Jangankan baju baru, belum tentu Raya kali ini dapat disambut dengan gembira.

Apa-apa pun Misako bersyukur sangat diberi kesempatan untuk berpuasa lagi tahun ini. Semoga tahun depan dapat bertemu dengan Ramadhan sekali lagi. Tidak terasa, Ramadhan kini dipenghujungnya. Rasa sayu pun ada. Sebak juga rasa di dada bila memikirkan, belum tentu dapat bertemu Ramadhan akan datang. Semoga segala ibadah kita diterima Nya. Semoga kita akan hadir sebagai insan dan hambaNya yang lebih baik, lebih bersyukur.

Oklah, Misako mo bersiap-siap dulu. Mo pi Karamunsing mo beli :

• seluar Danish (anak ummi ni membesar dengan Johan.. seluar semua ndak muat sudah)
• kasut Nurul (pun cepat betul membesar.. kasut semua sudah ndak muat)
• contact lense Misako (hehehe Raya ni mo try contact lense pulak)
• dan lain-lain kalau mencukupi budget dan perlu.
